Electronic Poker is a favored game that can be enjoyed in casinos around the globe, or in your house on your home computer, using an Internet account. The regulations are absolutely simple and consist of the player trying to achieve the greatest combination of cards as you can in order to acquire money. In this respect it is very similar as a regular game of poker, minus the interaction with any other players. The game of Video Poker begins when the bettor inserts credits (either tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and presses the deal button. A 5 card hand will then be electronically ‘handed out’ on the screen.
The Video Poker game also has hold buttons, and players should now decide which cards to keep and which to discard. For the cards the bettor would like to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons must be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any number of cards they wish, whether it’s all or none.
After the player has selected which cards she wishes to retain, they should press ‘draw’, at which point any fresh cards are dealt if desired. The hand is now completed, with the Video Poker machine scanning the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands shown on the pay out schedule.
Normally, the lowest winning hand on a Video Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money increasing for each better hand. A common list of winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It should be known that the payment schedule can range from machine to machine, so that skillful bettors are agile enough to choose the most beneficial ones each time.
As soon as the initial round has played out, the player can either choose to stay on in an attempt to maximize their winnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any money that might have been won. Further, a few styles of the game allow the bettor a chance to double their wins, in which case a further hand is played. There are also variations between specific games, with some decks of cards including wild cards and other differing aspects to enhance playability.
